Welcome to Etonpost! By signing up for a Etonpost Account (as defined in Section 1) or by using any Eton Labs Services (as defined below), you are agreeing to be bound by the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”).
As used in these Privacy Policy, “we”, “us”, “our” and “Etonpost” means the applicable Etonpost Contracting Party (as defined below), and “you” means the Etonpost User (if registering for or using a Etonpost Service as an individual), or the business employing the Etonpost User (if registering for or using a Etonpost Service as a business) and any of its affiliates.
1. Introduction
- We understand that privacy online is important to users of etonpost. Our mission to make physical mailing better for everyone at etonpost, especially when sending mails, letters, postcards and confidential documents online. We collect and use information about you, our partners who deliver mail for users, companies who operate or improve their business using our platform, visitors to etonpost websites, or anyone contacting etonpost support.
- This statement governs our privacy policies with respect to how we collect, use, and share your personal information. This privacy policy is applicable to those users of the etonpost who visit without transacting business and visitors who register to transact business on etonpost and make use of the various services offered by Eton Labs Inc.

When building and improving etonpost, our engineers work closely with our privacy and security teams to build with privacy in mind. - To make physical mailing better for everyone at etonpost, we collect and use personal information provided by you, your device(s), third parties such as email providers, internet service providers, marketplaces, and all subprocessor we work with for cloud hosting, content delivery, data analysis, internal logging, fulfillment services and email transmission, among others, to help us provide you with our services.
- In addition to our direct collection of information, our third-party service vendors (such as credit card companies, clearinghouses and banks) who may provide such services as credit and payment services may collect this information from our visitors and users. We do not control how these third parties use such information, but we do ask them to disclose how they use personal information provided to them from visitors and users. Some of these third parties may be intermediaries that act solely as links in the delivery and payment chain, and do not store, retain, or use the information given to them.
5. Why We Collect Your Information
- Personal Information refers to any information that identifies or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains, including, but not limited to, name, address, phone number, fax number, email address and credit card information. Personal Information does not include information that is collected anonymously (that is, without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.
- To better provide our services to you, we must process information about you, including personal information. We do not “sell” your personal information as that term is defined under US Privacy Laws. We may collect basic user profile information from all of our visitor. We collect the following additional information from our users: the sender’s names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and recipient’s names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses that the user intends to send or mail documents to.
- We use and share your personal information for the purposes set out in the Eton Labs Privacy Policies. For categories of sensitive personal information that we collect, we only use or disclose such information either with your specific consent when required, or as otherwise permitted by law.
- We use your information to customize the etonpost platform, to make appropriate service offerings, and to fulfil sending and mailing requests on the etonpost platform. We may email visitors and users about research or purchase and postal opportunities on the etonpost platform or information related to the subject matter of Eton Labs, Inc. We may also use your information to contact visitors and users in response to specific inquiries, or to provide requested information.
- We may also process your personal information where you have provided your consent. In particular, where we cannot rely on an alternative legal basis for processing, where you direct us to transfer information to a third party, where we receive your data from a third party is sourced and it already comes with consent or where we are required by law to ask for your consent (including in the context of some of our sales and marketing activities). At any time, you have a right to withdraw your consent by changing your communication choices, opting out from our communications or by contacting us.
- We use login information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, locations, and browser types, to analyze trends, administer our site, track a user’s movement and use, and gather broad demographic information.
6. Where We Send Your Information
- Personal information about users and recipients may be shared to evaluate potential transactions with another user. We may share aggregated information about our visitors, including the demographics of our visitors and users, with our affiliated agencies and third party vendors. We also offer the opportunity to “opt out” of receiving information or being contacted by us or by any agency acting on our behalf.
- Etonpost has entered into and will continue to enter into partnerships and other affiliations with a number of vendors. Such vendors may have access to certain Information on a need-to-know basis for evaluating user for service eligibility. Our privacy policy does not cover their collection or use of this information.
- We will disclose Personal Information in order to comply with a court order or subpoena or a request from a law enforcement agency to release information. We will also disclose personal information when reasonably necessary to protect the safety of our visitors and users. If a third party requests your personal information, we will refuse to share it unless you give us permission or we are legally required. When we are legally required to share your personal information, we will tell you in advance, unless we are legally forbidden.

- Personal information collected by etonpost is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees of Eton Labs Inc except for use as indicated above. However, we will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we have collected it. Because we need your personal information to provide services, we generally keep your personal information, including sensitive personal information, while you use our services or until you tell us to delete your information. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of your personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means and the applicable legal requirements. We will also retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our policies. We may also keep personal information to comply with legal obligations or protect our or other’s interests.
- All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The personal information of our visitors and users is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given a password in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers or payment information, is protected by encryption protocols, in place to protect information sent over the Internet. While we take commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure site, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins, and we cannot guarantee or warrant that such events will not take place and we will not be liable to visitors or users for any such occurrences.
- Our teams work tirelessly to protect your information, and to ensure the security and integrity of our platform. We also have independent auditors assess the security of our data storage and systems that process your personal information. However, we all know that no method of transmission over the Internet, and method of electronic storage, can be 100% secure. This means we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your personal information.
8. Your Rights Over Your Information
- We believe you should be able to access and control your personal information no matter where you live. Depending on how you use etonpost, you may have the right to request access to, correct, amend, delete, restrict, or object to certain uses of your personal information. We will not charge you more or provide you with a different level of service if you exercise any of these rights. Please note that a number of these rights apply only in certain circumstances, and all of these rights may be limited by law.
- If you are a merchant, partner, user, employee, visitor or other individual that Eton Labs Inc has a direct relationship with, please submit your data subject request through our dashboard. Please note that if you send us a request relating to your personal information, we have to make sure that it is you before we can respond. In order to do so, we may use a third party to collect and verify identification documents.
- Visitors and users may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from or being contacted by us and/or our vendors and affiliated agencies by responding to emails as instructed, or by contacting us. Visitors and users may contact us to update personal information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us. If you stop using our services or if you delete your account with us, we will delete your information or store your information in an aggregated and anonymized format.
- We also provide visitors and users with a mechanism to delete/deactivate personal information from the etonpost’s database by contacting us. However, because of backups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete a visitor’s entry without retaining some residual information. An individual who requests to have personal information deactivated will have this information functionally deleted, and we will not disclose, transfer, or use personal information relating to that individual in any way moving forward.

- Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our visitors and the services they select. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our users. For example, if a user is logged on and the site is unused for more than a pre-set minutes, we will automatically log the user off. 10. Privacy Policy Changes?"
- We will let our visitors and users know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on etonpost. If we change our privacy practices, we may update this privacy policy. If any changes are significant, we will let you know by email or through your dashboard. However, if we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of personal information that a visitor or user has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such visitor or user to allow such visitor or user to prevent such disclosure.
